African Allure
Company Profile
Started in July 2009 african allure is a service offered to the general angling public by a fisherman who has a drive and a passion for both water and the great outdoors. This is a personailised service that renders knowledge and experince in giving the best possible adventure to the guest.

Ryan Clark was born at Victoria falls and spent his formative years of his life paddeling and fishing the waterways of the mighty zambezi with his father in rather dubious floatation devices that more often than not required more bailing than paddeling and it was here that his passion and love for the this type of outdoor sport blossomed.
After finishing up school Ryan went straight into a bush job doing enviromental education groups for kids from here he progressed into some of South Africa's better known game lodges where he worked as a field guide - although his fishing took somewhat of a back seat his knowledge and experince grew immensly. From here it was onto walking trails in Kruger National park where several ears were spent leading guests into the wilderness and every spare momment of his time was spent chasing his finned friends in the various waterways.
The a position came up in Zambia to manage a 16 bed exclusive river lodge in the Lower Zambezi National park in Zambia something that Ryan took no hesitation in accepting. Several years were spent fishing guiding and rebuilding the camp - many guests returned from there holiday with trophy fish that most people could only dream of.
From Zambia another job was offered in the heart of the Okavango swamps again without hesitation Ryan took off to Botswana and there too spent many long days on the water chasing one quarry or another. The it was off to KwaZulu Natal where ryan went into Private business but kept up his fishing pursuits and became specialised in plugging for kingfish and other fish species in the ocean as well as making the most of the local bass populations that thrive and flourish in natal freshwaters.
A job Opportunity presented itself in the big city of Pretoria and so a move was made up there. Ryan joined a local Artificial lure angling club called "Pretoria Spinfishers" and in his first year overcame the challenges of learning a new facet of the sport and steadily climbed the rankings within the club. His second season he fished the Natal Leauge circut and was invited to fish for natal at the Nationals and thereby earning his Natal colours. He also finished the season in the top place of his own social club (Spinfishers).
3rd season He made the move to fish for the local province as logistics of attending leauge in Natal were becoming somewhat of a nightmare - Here he made the N.Gauteng "A" team and attended the nationals held at Albert Falls KZN. Although his province did not win the nationals in the individual event Ryan placed 4th Nationally.
Ryan has been selected to represent the Protea team attending the world champs In Kazakstan in Early October 2009.
