Kosi Lakes 2010 Extreme estuarine fishing PDF Print E-mail

Kosi Lakes a hidden wilderness of strong fish Come join us for some hardcore fishing fun January and February 2009

Kosi lakes is one of those little talked about destinations for some fantastic estuarine fishing and has a lot to offer in terms of fishing for strong powerful salt and estuarine species surrounded by a picture landscape of blue waters and wilderness. Come join

us for a couple of days of extreme hardcore lure fishing for mighty river snapper (Rock Salmon), Spotted grunter, GT’s, Big eyes and green spotted kingfish. These super predators are on the hunt and there voracious appetites make for some excellent top water and stick-bait fishing. This fishing is not for the fainthearted as the fish are super powerful and hard fighting adversaries there is also ideal opportunity for some wicked dropshot, plugging and spooning in the surf for GT’s and other  predatory species.

Normal itinerary.

Day 1:

Arrival Lunch time

Depart for an afternoon session around 4pm and return around dark

Day 2;

Full day out on 3rd lake early am and move into 2nd and 1st lake for packed lunch in the cool confines of the waterside forest – excellent swimming and snorkelling during the peak as the fishing seems to taper off during this time of the day then late afternoon return to the channel between 2nd and third lake for some late afternoon top-water fun.

Day 3;

Much the same as day 2 with the exception of maybe staying in lake 3 and coming off the water and heading down to the beach for the (hot part) day. Then back for some late afternoon fun.

Day 4;

Early morning start fish hard till about 9 am come off the water pack and departure.

By fishing for 2 full days this allows enough fishing in the event of bad weather (Usually rain and strong winds as the lake can get ugly) when these factors do come into effect this is one of the ideal times to hit the beach and do some awesome drop-shot fishing in the surf – normally strong winds also bring the big GT’s etc close inshore.

African allure is running specials for Jan and Feb 2010 do not miss this one.

Attached some photies to wet the appetite.......
