Have you ever wanted to catch Tigerfish but the Zambezi has always been to expensive or it has just been to much PT to organise a trip?
After the summer rains the Jozini tiger are starting to come on again and will be shortly starting to smacking the shoals of baby fish that abound after the spawn in the lake. There are also numerous other species that are thriving at this time of the year.

During the Summer month's Jozini's wind can get a bit cheeky so in the event that the wind does pick up there is also oppounity to target bass in the Pongola dams and there are some pretty serious size fish coming out of these irrigation dams - these are private dams that the general public does not have access to so they are not hard pressed for fishing and and it is not uncommon to catch 3kg + fish.
Tigers are targetted predominantly on lure and fly as using this tactic you can cover much water and area this also keeps the fishing interesting as one is constantly on the move. African allure also specialises in topwater action which can be heart stopping. I lived and worked in Pongola for the better part of 3 years and have intimate knowledge of the waters in the area.
So if you want to cut your eye teeth on a couple of tiggers come join me - there is a wide varieof accomodation available from 3 star right down to camping - this can be arranged for you if need be or alternativly accomodation can also be booked for you.
