Are you looking for that new adventure for big tigerfish and other sport species up in Africa.....
African allure is busy branching out into new parts of the continent and is hoping soon to offer great fishing destinations where amazing trophy fish can be caught... Last year I spent 6 month's fishing the Upper Barotse Flood Plain with various techniques and methods and had some very interesting results I believe this is one of the few areas left in the zambezi system where one is Guaranteed to catch tigerfish in excess of 10lb and bream species in excess of 6lb on a consistant basis.
Lure fishing is by far the most successful method early on in the season when there is still water streaming off the Floodplain the fish are somewhat smaller - crazy thing is some of these smaller fish still weigh "19lb" and they are highly aggressive and at times there can be complete and absolute pandomonium as 3 guys on the boat can all be tight on big bounding fish and as they spit you and the lure hits the water you go on again. Later in the season the fish prefer live bait and although the fishing is a little slower fish in excess of 16lb are common.
